Ingredients:
8 tablespoons cornstarch
1 liter of milk
1 can of condensed milk
1 glass (200 ml) coconut milk
100 g grated coconut
1 cup of sugar
2/3 cup of water
200g pitted prunes
Method of preparation:
Dissolve the cornstarch in the milk;
Add condensed milk, coconut milk and grated coconut;
Cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon;Pour the mixture into a mold with a hole in the middle (24 cm) dipped in cold water;
When it cools down, take it to the fridge for like 3 hours, or until it's firm;
In a pan over low heat, dissolve the sugar in the water, stirring constantly;
Add the plums and cook without stirring for 10 minutes until the syrup thickens;
Remove from heat and let cool;
Unmold the manjar by turning the mold over a plate;
Water with the syrup and garnish with the plums;
Serve chilled or at room temperature.
